Did you enjoy that Brown Butter Apple Cinnamon popcorn we posted a few days ago? It’s time for a savory variation. This one is a classic crowd pleaser – and we all need those in our repertoire.
Parmesan Truffle Popcorn
1/4 cup butter
1 garlic clove, peeled
1/3 cup unpopped popcorn
1 tsp truffle oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dried chives
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan
Smash the garlic clove, then rub all over the inside of a small pot or microwave-safe bowl. Add butter and melt on the stovetop or in the microwave. Set aside and keep warm.
Pop the popcorn via your preferred method.
Remove garlic clove from butter, and mix truffle oil into butter so both oils are combined. Pour butter over popcorn while mixing to distribute the flavour evenly. Sprinkle salt over top while tossing popcorn, then mix in chives and parsley. Lastly, stir in the parmesan.
