One-day pop-up store by chocolatier and “Purveyor to the Royal Danish Court” Anthon Berg served up confections marked with good deeds and promises instead of monetary prices. In order to purchase a box of chocolate, customers “checked out” by pledging the corresponding deed to a friend or family member.
I love seeing these kinds of creative ideas for building goodwill and positive association between people and for your brand. The exercise goes perfectly with Anthon Berg’s slogan, “You can never be too generous”. And though we shouldn’t expect treats for being good to those we love, it’s always nice to have some form of positive reinforcement!
